I installed AutoCAD 2007, however, there was an error when I installed, I don't remember what the error was, but i hit ignore, and hoped it wouldn't matter. But then when I went to use it, it said it couldn't run. So I attempted to uninstall the program, and try to re-install it. I couldn't uninstall it, it says 'Failed prematurely' so I did some research, and tried removing it manually, and then tried installing it again, it says 'AutoCAD2007 - English is already installed on your computer' How do i fix this? Autodesk Tech Support (at reseller level) referred me to Microsoft saying it was a Microsoft issue. I went to the reseller because Autodesk sent me there. I've discovered a new program that Microsoft is offering called Windows Live OneCare (I'm not as far into the process as you've gone in terms of removal. I'm afraid to touch the registry, which is why I'm looking at the program I suggest. It has a Registry scanner feature. If you decide to use this suggestion I would be very interested in your result, positive or negative.

The scanner may take care of removing parts of the program you may have missed by doing a manual Registry edit, and may therefore get you beyond the issues you've cited. In my case I can't use this program, because I would first have to format the partition the Autodesk software is installed on first, and I'm not sure whether the scanner would, in fact, get rid of the remnants in the Registry. I put the Autodesk software on a separate partition for the eventuality that I had a situation where I would have to remove it by formatting the partition. I could do this and not touch any other programs. It seems I'm still in a spot though because I get error messages if I try to uninstall or reinstall.
