Any professional will appreciate the value of the system, and well, if you don't, switch to something else that's comparable in quality for the dollar. It's the wrong comparison, it is not real hardware vs UAD that should only be compared, it is UAD vs other plugin's from other companies that should be compared.

UAD plug in's are top quality yes, but UAD are not the only company that make quality plug in's, UAD have to look at the competition prices otherwise the UAD customer base will disappear. I for one, have bought several non-UAD plug in's recently, partly for price (Waves Aphex for example) and partly because I don't need DSP based effects now that the DSP card is running out of power.

Plus the new UAD plug in's just haven't been of any interest to me. I want UAD to succeed and be with us for many years to come, but they must hold on to their user base, and it could well be slowly slipping away, and I don't want that any more than UA do.
